Jack Day shot Keith Arthur when he returned home to find him talking to his wife.

He was a jealous man and suspected that she was having an affair. When he got home he asked keith what he was doing there and he said that he was there to see if he wanted to go out for a drink.

He hid the body in a farm shed on Dunstable Downs but it was found 2 days later and jack was arrested. He claimed that the gun had gone off accidently but was convicted of murder and sentenced to death.
